{"id":4473,"date":"2019-08-21T20:18:56","date_gmt":"2019-08-22T03:18:56","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2020-09-13T14:42:46","modified_gmt":"2020-09-13T21:42:46","slug":"4473","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/4473","title":{"rendered":"LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3 Wi-Fi username field is wrong and grayed out"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"notice\" style=\"border: 1px solid red; padding: 1em; text-align: center; margin-bottom: 1em;\">\n<h3>This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.<\/h3>\n<p>The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If you have a LabQuest 2 that was connected to a WPA2 Enterprise network where you enter a username\/password, and either you mis-typed the username or you want to enter a different username than before, you will find that the username field in LabQuest is populated with the old username and grayed out (non-editable):<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"border\" src=\"\/files\/til\/images\/4473-Notmyusername.png\" alt=\"4473-Notmyusername.png\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To edit the username:<br \/>1. Tap <b>Cancel<\/b>. This will take you back to the network selection screen with the network name and &#8220;failed&#8221; under it.<br \/>2. Tap the <b>icon<\/b> in the upper-right corner.<br \/>3. Tap the <b>Forget Network<\/b> button.<br \/>4.
