The reason for this is that those types of changes break the X axis: different data sets then have different meanings for the X axis, which makes plotting them against each other problematic.<\/p>\n<p class=\"inline\">If those options are grayed out, choose File Menu, <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"80\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-22610\" style=\"width: 80px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/01\/File-menu-icon.png\" alt=\"\">, and then choose &#8220;New Experiment.&#8221; (It will ask you if you want to save your existing data.)<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Once you have collected data, Graphical Analysis doesn&#8217;t allow you to change the Data Collection Mode or Time Units.
