{"id":546,"date":"2017-03-31T19:36:00","date_gmt":"2017-04-01T02:36:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-30T07:00:00","slug":"546","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/546","title":{"rendered":"Will the Pasco Rotary motion sensor (CI-6538) work on a ULI or LabPro?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Pasco CI-6538 Rotary Motion Sensor is made to work with Pasco interfaces and can not be adapted to work with Vernier interfaces.<\/p>\n<p>In contrast, there is a similar version marked CI-6625 can be used with a LabPro or LabQuest using the <a href=\"\/product\/rotary-motion-adapter\/\">Rotary Motion Adapter<\/a> (<nobr>ROT-BTD<\/nobr>).  <\/p>\n<p>Both versions use 2 digital lines, but the Pasco version that has 2 1\/4 stereo jacks uses the 2 digital lines such that one is counting pulses, and the other is either high or low to indicate direction.
