LabQuest is controlled by touching the screen. Instead of using your finger, you can use a stylus designed for capacitive touch screens (not included) if desired.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Common Gestures<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Single tap<\/strong>\u2014Use a single tap to interact with most objects on the device.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Touch and drag<\/strong>\u2014Use touch and drag to select regions on a graph or to scroll through menus.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Long press <\/strong>\u2014Use the long press to activate special functionality on some objects such as holding down the keyboard shift key to enable shift lock or to initial a table selection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two-finger pinch\/zoom\/pan<\/strong>\u2014Use this gesture to manually scale graphs or pan the data table.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Double tap<\/strong>\u2014Double tap to scale the graph to fit the data or to edit elements of the data table such as cell data (when allowed), column name, or dataset name.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Single-finger swipe (from edges)<\/strong>\u2014This gesture is used to change which app is displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Navigating LabQuest 3<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"inline wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accessing Home<\/strong> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"25\" height=\"25\" class=\"wp-image-8466\" style=\"width: 25px;\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/home-outline@2x.png\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/home-outline@2x.png 153w, https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/home-outline@2x-90x90.png 90w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 25px) 100vw, 25px\" \/>\u2014Tap or swipe down from the left side of the Notification bar to view the Home screen. The app order is represented by the icons on the left side of the notification bar.
