{"id":8557,"date":"2020-08-27T15:19:49","date_gmt":"2020-08-27T22:19:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/?p=8557"},"modified":"2025-03-04T10:01:26","modified_gmt":"2025-03-04T18:01:26","slug":"how-do-i-replace-the-wheels-on-a-go-direct-sensor-cart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/8557","title":{"rendered":"How do I replace the wheels on a Go Direct Sensor Cart?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This article refers to both the teal <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-sensor-cart\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Sensor Cart<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-CART-G<\/nobr>) and the chartreuse <a href=\"\/product\/go-direct-sensor-cart\/\">Go Direct<sup>&reg;<\/sup> Sensor Cart<\/a> (<nobr>GDX-CART-Y<\/nobr>).<\/p>\n<p>In the spring of 2024 the Go Direct Sensor Cart chassis was revised to enable field repair for wheels that come off of the axle. If your cart has exposed axles (see photo), you can contact Technical Support (email <a href=\"mailto:physics@vernier.com\">physics@vernier.com<\/a>, call 888-837-6437, or use the Chat feature on our website) and request a replacement axle (<a href=\"\/product\/vernier-dynamics-system-axles-and-wheels-for-cart\/\">Vernier Dynamics System Axles and Wheels for Cart<\/a> (<nobr>WHEELS-VDS<\/nobr>)). The video below shows the process for removing and replacing the axle.
