However, there are few older devices that are unsupported due to driver update issues. <a href=\"https:\/\/support.microsoft.com\/en-us\/windows\/windows-10-arm-based-pcs-faq-477f51df-2e3b-f68f-31b0-06f5e4f8ebb5\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Microsoft has information on ARM-based Windows devices<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How can you tell if you are running on an ARM processor?<\/strong><br \/>Go into the System Information dialog (right-click on the Start menu, and choose &#8220;System&#8221;) and look for the line that says &#8220;System type.&#8221; It will say something like &#8220;ARM-based processor&#8221;<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Analysis Apps<\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Graphical Analysis\/Graphical Analysis Pro<\/strong>\u2014fully supported<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spectral&nbsp;Analysis<\/strong>\u2014fully supported<\/li>\n<li><strong>Instrumental Analysis<\/strong>\u2014fully supported<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vernier Video Analysis<\/strong>\u2014fully supported<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: <\/strong>Some computers that ship with ARM processors ship in Windows S mode. You must disable S mode in order to install Vernier software. <a href=\"\/til\/18532\/\">I can't install Graphical Analysis or other Vernier software because Windows says it isn't Microsoft-verified.<\/a><\/p>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logger <i>Pro<\/i><\/h3>\n<p><strong>Logger\u00a0Pro 3.16.2<\/strong> is mostly supported. These devices can be made to work with manual installation of drivers.<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>LabPro<br \/>Forcibly install the LabQuest driver for the connected LabPro. <br \/>The LabPro driver itself will not install on an ARM machine.<\/li>\n<li>OHAUS balances and Watts Up Pro<br \/>Contact us for assistance manually installing the Universal Windows driver <br \/><a href=\"https:\/\/ftdichip.com\/drivers\/vcp-drivers\/\">https:\/\/ftdichip.com\/drivers\/vcp-drivers\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<p><strong>The following devices are not supported due to driver issues.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>No Vernier GPS sensor support<\/li>\n<li>No Ocean Optics spectrometer support (including the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vernier.com\/v-spec\">Vernier Spectrometer<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>No Wireless Dynamics Sensor System support<\/li>\n<li>No LabQuest Stream via Bluetooth support<\/li>\n<li>No TI calculator support using <a href=\"\/product\/ti-connectivity-kit-usb\/\">TI Connectivity Kit USB<\/a> (<nobr>GLC-USB<\/nobr>)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p><strong>Older versions of Logger <em>Pro<\/em> will not work on ARM machines. <\/strong>Attempting to install older versions (3.16.1 and older) Logger <em>Pro<\/em> on an ARM processor will yield a dialog that says &#8220;LabPro WinUSB driver installation failed.&#8221; Use version 3.16.2 or newer.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> this same error message can also be caused by trying to install old versions of Logger <em>Pro<\/em> on computers without the ARM processor.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"781\" height=\"592\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/image.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9691\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/image.png 781w, https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/image-600x455.png 600w, https:\/\/www.vernier.com\/til\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/10\/image-768x582.png 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 781px) 100vw, 781px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"height:20px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Logger Lite<\/h3>\n<p>Logger Lite is not generally supported. It may be possible to use Logger Lite after first installing Logger <em>Pro<\/em> or Graphical Analysis app, but this has not been fully tested.
