Don’t have hundreds of dollars to spend on an expensive adiabatic gas law device? Jamie Benigna in Birmingham, MI came up with a way to build one using a Gas Pressure Sensor, syringe, Surface Temperature Sensor, and some hot glue.

To make one yourself, simply drill a small hole in the syringe, insert the the temperature sensor, and reseal the syringe.

If you need to replace your modified syringe, we sell replacement syringes.

In Jamie’s original version, he used the same sensors, but had a larger bottle and produced a “cloud chamber”. In the downloadable zip file below, you can see the Logger Pro data and a movie of both homemade adiabatic gas law devices in action.
