Vernier Science Education is now accepting applications for its 2026 Inspiration Grants. This grant program recognizes innovative middle school, high school, and college educators nationwide who engage—or seek to engage—STEM students with data‑collection technology and foster STEM literacy in their classrooms. A total of 10 educators will be selected. Each will receive $1,000 worth of Vernier technology of their choosing, a one‑year license for Vernier Graphical Analysis® Pro, and three hours of virtual professional development to further support their teaching.
“Hands-on learning and data collection give students the opportunity to connect STEM concepts to the world around them,” said Jill Hedrick, CEO of Vernier Science Education. “The Inspiration Grants are just one way we can recognize and support some of the amazing educators who make these kinds of meaningful learning experiences possible for their students.”
The grants are open to middle school, high school, and college educators who are actively teaching at an educational institution in the United States and have not previously won a grant from Vernier. To apply, educators must describe how they will implement $1,000 worth of Vernier technology in their classroom or laboratory, how the technology will meet their institution’s needs, and how the funding will enhance their instruction and engage students.
Grantees will be selected by a panel of educators and Vernier employees.
All applications are due by November 30, 2026. Grantees will be announced January 7, 2027.
