Introduction
Electricity is everywhere. It is a part of our daily lives that we, many times, take for granted. Without electricity, many of our daily activities would be impossible. But how does this electricity get from one place to another? We move electricity through circuits. Circuits are pathways that the electricity follows and any device that uses electricity must be in a circuit. In this experiment, you will build simple electrical circuits containing light bulbs using batteries for power. You will measure the circuit’s voltage and the voltage for each bulb.
Objectives
- Build a simple circuit.
- Observe brightness of multiple light bulbs in a circuit.
- Compare the values of voltages at various locations within a circuit.
- Make conclusions using the results of the experiment.
