When a license to Graphical Analysis Pro or Vernier Video Analysis is purchased, the buyer receives an activation code. The code is then used to obtain or renew a license key, starting at the date the key is obtained.

Often the purchaser and the primary instructor using Graphical Analysis Pro or Vernier Video Analysis are not the same person. The purchaser needs transactional information and renewal information, while the instructor needs the license key, usage tips, and deployment information.

As a result we ask administrators and IT professionals who might be the purchaser to not use the code to obtain license keys themselves, but instead to have an instructor at each school perform this step. This is most easily done by having the purchaser forward the email containing the activation code to one instructor at a school.

If the activation code is for multiple schools, then the buyer should forward the email to one instructor at each school. The single code can be used as many times as licenses were purchased. For example, if a district buys six licenses, the purchaser will receive a single code that can be used six times.

When an instructor at a school uses a code to obtain a license key, the license information is made available to all instructors at that school via their Vernier accounts, and the activating instructor receives occasional emails with usage tips about the app.

If an administrator obtains the license key, instructors will not have access in their accounts, nor will they receive usage tips and other useful information.
