Do I need to use 4-sided clear cuvettes if I am doing a fluorescence experiment with the Spectro Vis Plus?

You do not need to use 4-sided clear cuvettes to measure fluorescence with the SVIS-PL. A standard two-sided clear cuvette will work as long as the cuvette is ribbed and not frosted. The cuvettes that come with the SVIS-PL are ribbed and will work fine for this purpose. Just place the cuvette in the spectrometer as you would if you were measuring absorbance.

We have tested two fluorometer cuvettes (catalog numbers 9012 and 9014). Both of these cuvettes work well.
