LabQuest Minis produced between October 2010 and January 2011 contained a part that made the power supplies unstable. As a result, some sensors gave noisier readings, corresponding to as much as 10X the normal bit noise, when used with affected units.

Affected sensors include:
Gas Pressure Sensor (GPS-BTA)
Other sensors may also show the noise issue.

Serial numbers include:

10008185 – 10010182

Sometimes triggering would fail, because the noise would make it impossible to distinguish between rising and falling signals.

Field repair is not possible. These units need to be returned to Vernier for modification.

This is not the same issue as LabQuest (original) and LabQuest Mini: Readings from my Vernier Microphone are very noisy.
