Video synchronization requires the data from your sensors to have a column named “Time”. Data imported from TI calculators are labeled with the name used by the calculator (for example L1, L2, etc…). Thus, Logger Pro will not recognize the column and data set for synchronization to video unless you make some changes to the column name(s).

Once you have imported your calculator data and the matching video into Logger Pro, do the following before attempting to synchronizing the data with a video:

  1. Click the column heading of the table that corresponds to the time column (typically L1).
  2. Rename the column Time and change the units to seconds (s).
  3. If desired, rename the other column(s) to have appropriate names and units.
    • For example, if you were using a motion detector give the other column the name Distance with proper units (m).
  4. Click on the video synchronization icon and the data set imported from the calculator will be recognized.
  5. Proceed as you would normally to synchronize the video etc.
