This issue is specific to the Windows installed version of Graphical Analysis.
This issue is most common when updating from v6.2.0 to v6.2.1.
What is Happening?
When using the update tool within the Graphical Analysis app, the update can fail with the error: Vernier Graphical Analysis cannot be closed.
This happens because a task is still running. In order for the update to proceed, the task must be closed manually.
Resolving the Issue
To resolve the issue, do the following:
- Pressing CTRL+ALT+Delete and select the Task Manager.
- Locate the Vernier Graphical Analysis task that is running.
- Right click the task, and select End task.
- Close the task manager to return to the Graphical Analysis Setup box.
- Click Retry to complete the update.
