Are there options to protect my LabQuest from getting wet?

Although Vernier does not offer a waterproof case for LabQuest, there are some options to protect your LabQuest if your class is caught in the rain in the field or to keep your LabQuest protected during water quality sampling in the lab.

Note: These cases are not recommended for underwater sampling or to submerge the LabQuest. If the unit is immersed or gets very wet, permanent damage can result. Such damage is not covered by the LabQuest warranty, even if the following recommendations are used (see TIL 2425: My LabQuest unit got very wet, and now it won't turn on. What can I do?). The following recommendations have not been tested for protection against other chemicals.

1. In Use: SealLine’s E-case (Medium size)

You can still use the stylus and interact with the screen of the LabQuest through the transparent plastic shell. With no sensors attached, the LabQuest can remain safe when sealed from moisture in this waterproof-rated bag.
You can also attach sensors and partially close the bag to keep the LabQuest safe from splashing, etc. SealLine bags are also easy to fix if punctured and easy to open/close.

2. In Use: BubbleShield https://www.thejoyfactory.com/pages/bubbleshield/
