Not all Go Direct sensors can be updated using the Go Direct Firmware Updater app.
Due to supply chain issues during the pandemic, we were required to build some sensors with different processors. Any of the sensors having an AMTEL processor cannot not be updated using the app. If you were to attempt to update the firmware of one of these sensors, the Firmware Updater app will not shown any available updates.
When one of these sensors has an available update, the Sensor Details in Graphical Analysis will show that an update is available. However, the message will indicate that the sensor cannot be updated in the field. If that is the case with your sensor, contact us to set up a repair.
