This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.

The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.

There could be several reasons why the LabQuest 2 or LabQuest 3 device name doesn’t display in the list when you choose Data Sharing in Graphical Analysis or Graphical Analysis Pro. Here are a few things you can check:

1. Make sure the LabQuest 2 and device running Graphical Analysis are on the same Wi-Fi network. Data Sharing will not work unless both your device and the LabQuest are on the same network. Verify that the correct network name is displayed.
LabQuest 2⚊Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the toolbar to launch the Connections app.
LabQuest 3⚊Select the Connections from the Settings screen.

2. Verify Data Sharing is enabled on the LabQuest. LabQuest will not stream data unless this function is enabled.
LabQuest 2⚊Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the toolbar to launch the Connections app. If Data Sharing is not on, tap the Data Sharing gear and tap the On radio button.
LabQuest 3⚊Select the Connections from the Settings screen. If Data Sharing is not on, tap the Data Sharing icon, , and tap the On radio button.

3. If the LabQuest still doesn’t display in the Data Sharing list, choose Select Source and enter the LabQuest IP address displayed in the Connections App.
LabQuest 2⚊Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the toolbar to launch the Connections app.
LabQuest 3⚊Select the Connections from the Settings screen.

If you are able to connect via the IP address, but the LabQuest device name does not display in the list, your devices may not share the same subnet mask, or your network may not be configured to allow Bonjour networking. Please contact your network administrator to resolve the issue.

If you cannot connect using the IP address, your network may be configured to isolate clients. Please contact your network administrator to resolve the issue.
