This information pertains to LabQuest 2 and LabQuest 3.

The original LabQuest does not support this functionality.

To connect to Vernier Data Share, make sure that Data Sharing is enabled and follow the below steps.

1. Make sure the LabQuest and mobile device are on the same Wi-Fi network.
On the LabQuest, verify that the correct network name is displayed, along with a numeric IP address from the Connections App.
LabQuest 2—Tap the Wi-Fi icon in the toolbar.
LabQuest 3—Tap the Connection App from the Settings screen.
Mobile device: Follow your manufacturer’s instructions for connecting to a Wi-Fi network.

2. Check that Data Sharing is enabled on your LabQuest.
LabQuest 2—Tap the Data Sharing Gear and make sure Data Sharing is on.
LabQuest 3—Tap the Data Sharing icon, , and make sure Data Sharing is on.

3. Connect to Vernier Data Share.
Make sure your mobile device is on the same network and open a browser (Chrome or Safari).
Type the numeric IP address in the location bar and press Go or Enter.

Vernier Data Share should now display in your browser. If you do not see Vernier Data Share, your network may be configured to isolate clients. Please contact your network administrator.
