How do I change the name of my Go Wireless sensor?

By default, Go Wireless sensors are shipped with the same default name. When using multiple sensors in the same classroom, it can be advantageous to give each probe a unique name.

Go Wireless app for iOS
1. Launch Go Wireless app.
2. Press the power button on Go Wireless sensor to turn it on. The LED on the sensor will flash red.
3. In the app, you should see the name of your Go Wireless probe. Tap the Detail Disclosure button next to the sensor name.
4. Tap the name to change it. Names can be up to 19 characters.

Go Wireless app for Android
1. Launch Go Wireless app.
2. Press the power button on Go Wireless sensor to turn it on. The LED on the sensor will flash red.
3. Select the sensor from the list of available sensors. When connected to the sensor, the LED on the sensor will flash green.
4. Tap the overflow menu icon and select Change Name.
5. Tap the name to change it. Names can be up to 19 characters.

LabQuest 2
1. Launch the LabQuest App. The meter screen will appear.
2. Press the power button on the Go Wireless sensor to turn it on. The LED will be red.
3. Select Wireless Device Setup > Go Wireless from the Sensors menu. Select the sensor from the list of available sensors, and then tap OK. When connected to your LabQuest 2, the LED on the sensor will flash green.
4. Tap the meter box itself and select Go Wireless > Sensor Info.
5. Tap the name to change it. Names can contain up to 19 characters. Tap OK.
