Many teachers are accustomed to opening experiment files in Logger Pro to set up for an experiment. For that reason, you may look for experiment files when using Graphical Analysis GW app on an iPad or iPhone. The iOS world is a lot different from the Windows or Mac computers. There really is no such thing as a file that you open.

It is possible, however, to create your own files that are similar to experiment files. When you set up an experiment and then collect data, the data and setup are automatically saved (you turn this feature off and delete experiments, see below). As a result, if you do an experiment on one day, and you want to repeat it on another day, the setup and the data from the previous run will be on the device. Just start Graphical Analysis, or if it already running, tap on the word “Experiment” at the top-left. You will see images of the graphs from previous experiments. Tap one and you can return to that experiment. If you collect new data, it will be added to the graph and table.
