Videos can be collected on smartphones and tablets in any orientation. The orientation metadata may not be read by Logger Pro for Windows, so the video plays in an incorrect orientation.

If your video is sideways or upside-down when inserted into Logger Pro, you will need to process the video using a utility.

Option 1 – Windows Media Maker
For an example, see http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/14751/rotate-a-video-90-degrees-with-vlc-or-windows-live-movie-maker/

Option 2 – Free website
http://video.online-convert.com/convert-to-mp4

In most cases, if you pass the video through the converter application, but do NOT tell the converter app to rotate the video, Logger Pro will then read the file correctly.
