Davis WeatherLink Live (DWL-LIVE) can be thought of as the base station for your weather devices. You can connect up to 8 devices. These devices can be Vantage Vue or Vantage Pro 2 Weather stations or separate sensors, for example, temperature and humidity or soil moisture.

At weatherlink.com, you add a device by clicking on the wrench tool when logged on and then choosing Device Configuration. Set the DIP switches on your device so they are different from any others on this WeatherLink Live. (see the sensor or ISS manual for how to set the DIP switches.)
