When we designed ChemBio, we anticipated that most chemistry and biology teachers would want to see a live graph, so we force the program to produce a live graph, which requires time intervals longer than 0.1 s.

It is possible to trick the program into accepting smaller time intervals by doing the following:

  1. Choose Setup Probes and enter “2” for the number of probes, even though you will only use 1 probe.
  2. Set up your probe in Channel 1 and set up a different probe, e.g. temperature, in Channel 2.
  3. Go to Collect Data. Now a time graph experiment will not override the time interval you enter. (You do not have to actually connect the second sensor. Just don’t try to view the graph for the second channel.)
