Relative Humidity Sensor (RH-BTA)
Specifications and User Guide

TROUBLESHOOTING
-Primary Test: Plug the sensor into an interface and run the data-collection program. Check the readings on the default screen. Move the sensor to two places (one can be a container with a small amount of calcium chloride for low humidity; the other can be a container with a small amount of warm water for higher humidity). Confirm that the relative humidity readings change in a logical manner.

CALIBRATION
-Calibrate? No. The sensor is set to match the stored calibration before shipping.
-For greatest accuracy, calibrate the sensor. There are two calibration options. Option One: compare the readings with another instrument that measures relative humidity (easier). Option Two: conduct a two-point calibration. To do this, you must prepare two containers with moistened salts. This process is time-consuming. Refer to the sensor booklet for a detailed set of instructions and a table of salts with relative humidities for five different temperatures.
