Graphical Analysis Pro and Vernier Video Analysis are subscription-based software titles. A license key, consisting of a nine-character sequence, is associated with each subscription.
Access is usually provided by a URL, so that this key does not have to be typed or pasted regularly by any users. Instead, a link can be clicked to activate Graphical Analysis Pro, or in the case of Vernier Video Analysis, launch the product itself. Vernier makes it possible for instructors, IT, and even students to distribute license keys to other users at the school. We want to make it very easy for members of your school community to use our applications. Because we make it so easy, with simple key distribution, it is possible that license keys will inadvertently be shared outside of your school. As a way of limiting the use of keys shared outside your school, we change the key every year.
We’ve tried to strike a balance between easy access to subscribed applications, and providing some small barrier to unauthorized use.
