2018–present
The sensor casing has rounded sides, plastic fins on the rounded sides, and has a plastic product label.
Units less then 5 years old are still under warranty. It is likely that we can repair yours if it is this model, even if the warranty has expired.

2009–2017
This version has the same plastic case as the 2008 version. This model is distinguished by the silk-screened label, which used only capital letters for the sensor name.
This model is out of warranty, though it may be possible for us to repair it.

2008
This version has the same plastic case as the 2009–2017 version. This model is distinguished by the silk-screened label, which used mixed case letters for the sensor name.
This model is out of warranty, though it may be possible for us to repair it.

1997–2007
This version has a plastic case with rounded corners. It had a paper label, and the cable did not have a strain relief coming out of the box.
Note that older versions of this model (pre-1999) may have the order code DFS-DIN and do not auto-ID.
This model is out of warranty and cannot be repaired.
Parts needed to repair this sensor (e.g., strain gauge or cable) are no longer available.
