MATLAB is a programming platform that uses a a matrix-based language designed specifically for engineers and scientists in academia and industry. Common uses are for analyzing data, developing algorithms, and creating models.

Vernier sensors can be used with MATLAB using the SensorDAQ (SDAQ). (Please note that this interface has been discontinued and is no longer available.)
