Renewable Energy with Vernier (REV) was written with the use of the KidWind Advanced Wind Experiment Kit (KW-AWX) for all of the wind energy experiments and projects.

However, all wind energy experiments can be also done with the KidWind Basic Wind Experiment Kit (KW-BWX) with the exception of experiments 15 and 16 which are project-based experiments.
