If you need a motion detector that works with both Texas Instruments calculators as well as computers or Chromebooks, you should purchase the following:
The CBR 2 motion detector comes with the correct cables to connect to any TI graphing calculator including TI-84 Plus CE and TI-Nspire handhelds.
The Go Motion USB cable would be used to connect the CBR 2 to a computer or Chromebook for data collection using TI-84 SmartView Emulator software, TI-Nspire Teacher software, TI-Nspire Student software, Logger Pro 3, Logger Lite, Graphical Analysis, or Graphical Analysis Pro.
If you also want to use the CBR 2 with an interface (CBL 2, LabPro, TI-Nspire Lab Cradle, or LabQuest – any model) for simultaneous data collect with other sensors, you would need one additional cable:
- Digital Sensor Cable (MDC-BTD)
(Most people don’t need this cable.)
Note: The Go Direct Motion Detector is not compatible with TI Graphing calculators.
