Vernier Instrumental Analysis®

With our free Vernier Instrumental Analysis® app, students can collect and analyze data from our Go Direct Mini GC™, Go Direct Polarimeter, and Go Direct Cyclic Voltammetry System using computers, Chromebooks, or other mobile devices.

Our free Instrumental Analysis app makes it easy to incorporate instrumentation into your chemistry curriculum. The user-friendly interface walks students through the data-collection process and includes instrument-specific analysis features.

Collect, analyze, and share data from our Go Direct Mini GC™, Go Direct Polarimeter, and Go Direct Cyclic Voltammetry System with this free app for ChromeOS™, iOS, iPadOS™,  Android™, Windows®, and macOS®.

Using the app, students can collect a gas chromatogram from the Vernier Mini GC, Mini GC Plus, and Go Direct Mini GC. They can also determine peak area and integrate peaks.

If students have the Go Direct Cyclic Voltammetry System connected, they can easily collect voltammograms to analyze current peaks and determine standard potentials of electrochemical reactions.

System Requirements

Computer running Windows 10 version 1903 or newer, or Windows 11. Only Windows 10 and Windows 11 computers with compatible Bluetooth® radios will support Bluetooth connections.
Computer running macOS 10.14, 10.15, or 11. USB and Bluetooth.
Chromebook running ChromeOS 89 or newer. USB and Bluetooth.
iOS Devices
Devices running iOS or iPadOS 13, 14, and 15. See information about apps for older iOS operating systems.
Android Devices
Graphical Analysis with Go Direct support requires Android 9 or newer.
