Getting Started with the Go Direct® Ion-Selective Electrode Amplifier and Graphical Analysis 4 for Computers

Using Bluetooth

  1. Ensure your Go Direct® Ion-Selective Electrode Amplifier is charged.
  2. Turn on your sensor by pressing the power button once. The Bluetooth LED will blink red.
  3. Launch Graphical Analysis 4.
  4. Click or tap Sensor Data Collection from the New Experiment list.
  5. Click or tap your Go Direct sensor from the list of Discovered Wireless Devices. Your sensor's ID is located near the barcode on the sensor. The Bluetooth LED will blink green when it is successfully connected.
  6. In the Connected Devices Sensor Channels list, select the checkbox next to the Sensor Channel(s) you would like to activate.
  7. Click or tap Done to enter data-collection mode. You are now ready to continue your experiment.

Using USB

  1. Connect the sensor to the USB port of the computer.
  2. Launch Graphical Analysis 4.
  3. Click or tap Device Manager, Graphical Analysis device manager icon.
  4. In the Connected Devices Sensor Channels list, select the checkbox next to the Sensor Channel(s) you would like to activate.
  5. Click or tap Done to enter data-collection mode. You are now ready to continue your experiment.

Compatibility Notes

  • Requires a BNC electrode
  • For Bluetooth® connectivity, only computers running Windows 10 or Mac OS X 10.10 or newer are supported. The computer must also have a compatible Bluetooth 4.0+ radio.
  • Wireless connection of this sensor to a LabQuest 2 requires a Go Wireless Bluetooth Adapter when used with some older LabQuest 2 models.
