The Vernier Arduino Interface Shield provides a convenient way to connect up to two Vernier LabQuest analog sensors and two LabQuest digital sensors. The shield is designed to plug onto any Arduino UNO R3 or R4 board. After connecting the Interface Shield to the Arduino UNO plug your Vernier LabQuest sensors into the Interface Shield. 

If you are interested in using Vernier Go Direct® sensors with Arduino UNO R4 Wifi you will not need this shield, you will only need the UNO R4 Wifi.

The Interface Shield also includes the Vernier Coding Activities with Arduino: Analog Sensors e-book at no additional cost*, providing engaging coding activities to get started.

Compatibility Notes

  1. This interface can only collect acceleration data from two axes.
  2. Requires advanced programming for data collection
  3. Requires a Motion Detector Cable to connect to a DIG port on the interface
  4. You can only read the raw count/raw voltage output by this sensor. You must do the programming to convert to proper sensor units.
  5. Requires a Heart Rate Receiver to connect to an interface
  6. Use with an electrode such as a pH Sensor, Conductivity Probe, or ORP Sensor.
